BENDING NORMAL
2017

Bending Normal is Manganni's direct response to a confederate statue in Nashville, TN. The site specific ever-changing public sculpture is installed in accordance with seasonal sun patterns. Bending Normal is invasive to its environment, its reflection and refraction extend throughout the neighborhood and fellow institutions displaying the beauty of color and the importance of perspective.
